Multi-Product Sponsorship with Planet Water Foundation

About this Giving Opportunity

As a Xylem Stakeholder, you have the opportunity to support our NGO partner Planet Water Foundation by sponsoring the installation of an AquaTower at an elementary school or sponsoring an AquaHome to bring electricity, clean water and WASH education to a family in need.  

Planet Water Foundation takes a community-focused approach to their work, and typically focuses on a cluster of communities for project implementation to ensure coverage of an entire vulnerable area.  We recommend that stakeholders who are interested in travelling to install your project consider donating or fundraising for multiple product installations.  For example, to fill two full days of volunteering, you could support an AquaTower and two AquaHomes.  

Prices for individual products are listed below and can be used to calculate the total cost of a Multi-Project sponsorship. 

Note: All travel, accommodations, and logistics to be arranged by and paid for by the Project Sponsor.

We offer two options for product sponsorship:

• Direct Donation of the full amount via the Community Impact Portal 
• Fundraising Campaign via the platform Classy

Follow the instructions carefully to sponsor a product through your desired method. 

Direct Donation:

1. Complete this required survey before making your donation: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StakeholderSponsorship
2. Decide upon your multi-product plan.  How many products will you sponsor?  Calculate the total cost using the proces provided at the bottom of this page. 
3. Return to this page and select Donate Now.
4. Input the exact amount  into the custom donation box.
5. Select the box “Share my name and comments”.
6. In the box that appears, type your name, company and email address. You MUST provide this information for your engagement with Xylem Watermark  & PWF to be recorded.
7. Select your method of payment and continue to the final steps of payment.
8. Check your email to ensure you received a receipt and tax information for your donation.

Fundraising Campaign:  

1. To set up a fundraising page to collect donations for an AquaHome, follow these instructions.  
2. Complete this required survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StakeholderSponsorship
3. Follow this link to Planet Water Foundation’s Classy Portal to set up a personalized Product Donation Campaign for Multiple Products: https://give.classy.org/xffchoice.
4. Click “Become a Fundraiser” and follow the screen prompts. The bulk of the work has already been completed and you can begin a personal appeal to fundraise within minutes using the email templates and social sharing links.
5. Email clay@planetwater.com with your multi-project plan.  Which products are you sponsoring, and what is the amount you will be fundraising?  Planet Water will manually edit your fundraising page to reflect this funding goal.
6. Share this fundraising page with colleagues, friends, family and others in your network to raise the funds necessary to sponsor your projects.
