$5,000 - $20,000 Sponsor an AquaBlock for Emergency Response

About this Giving Opportunity

As a Xylem Stakeholder, you have the opportunity to support our NGO partner Planet Water Foundation by contributing to their Emergency Response Fund, which is used for the deployment of AquaBlock systems.  AquaBlocks are Emergency Water Kiosks housed in a vandal resistant, aluminum container, with 4-stage water purification process for the provision of safe, clean drinking water from surface or ground sources. Powered by three selectable pumping solutions- petrol, electric, or manual treadle, they are versatile for any situation.  AquaBlocks support the daily drinking water requirements of 9,500 people and are deployed in disasters and emergencies.

The total cost of an AquaBlock system is approximately $20,000.  By contributing 25% or more of this total, you will become a co-sponsor and your company will be recognized on the branding of an AquaBlock during an emergency deployment.  As a co-sponsor you will recieve updates on the details of the deployment, and the impact of your contribution.

• Fundraising Campaign via the platform Classy

Direct Donation:

2. Return to this page and select Donate Now.
3. Input $5,000 or more into the custom donation box.
4. Select the box “Share my name and comments”.
5. In the box that appears, type your name, company and email address. Providing this information will allow your engagement with Xylem Watermark to be recorded.
6. Select your method of payment and continue to the final steps of payment.
7. Check your email to ensure you received a receipt and tax information for your donation.

Fundraising Campaign:  

To set up a fundraising page to collect donations for an AquaTower, follow these instructions.

2. Follow this link to Planet Water Foundation’s Classy Portal to set up a personalized Project Donation Campaign for an AquaBlock: https://give.classy.org/xyffab
3. Click “Become a Fundraiser” and follow the screen prompts. The bulk of the work has already been completed and you can begin a personal appeal to fundraise within minutes using the email templates and social sharing links.
4. Share this fundraising page with colleagues, friends, family and others in your network to raise the funds necessary to sponsor an AquaTower of AquaHome.
