FHRA Waterboys - Walking Across America

About this Giving Opportunity

Water is an essential resource, used for sanitation, heating & air conditioning, hygiene, drinking, cooking, and many other essential activities. During the month of June the Fluid Handling Representatives and Xylem, in support of Watermark - WATERBOYS, will recognize the essential workers whose jobs revolve around the management of this precious resource, including MEP Engineers, mechanical contractors, plumbers, water district employees, and facility managers by walking across America (3,300 miles). We will be raising awareness and funds for a charitable organization named WATERBOYS whom work to bring clean, fresh water to communities across the USA. During the daily walk/ runs, participants will pick up trash so that it does not end up in our precious waterways.  The act of doing this is called "PLOGGING".
