Clean Water for Al Fao Hospital Renal Center

Our colleague Asaad Elamin was approached by a community activist named “Al- Taeb Digais” who is supporting his community in Al-FAO city which is located in the center of Sudan, specifically Al-FAO kidney dialysis center.

The kidney dialysis suffers from a contaminated and unreliable water quality supply, that adversely affecting the ability for them to provide safe treatment to patients.

This project was brought forward to Xylem Watermark, through which we partnered with our NGO partner Mercy Corp in Sudan.

Mercy Corp visited the hospital and gauge the hospital situation, and they will start the rehabilitation works soon (supply of pumps, underground water tank, pipes and other sanitation works).

Xylem Watermark has supported this project with a grant, however, extra funds are now required for the supply of treatment equipment that insure safe water supply to the dialysis center.

We look forward to getting our colleagues and the wide team in Xylem support on this philanthropic works to save the kidney dialysis center`s patient soon.
