Give Like a Kid Again with Trick or Treat for UNICEF

, UNICEF USA

In 1994, kids pulled on wizard hats and capes and helped UNICEF and its partners’ work to eliminate polio in the Americas.

In 2005, kids turned into mermaids and pirates to help bring safe water to families impacted by devastating hurricanes and earthquakes.

And in 2014, as doctors and nurses filled neighborhood streets, UNICEF was delivering lifesaving health care and supplies to communities responding to the Ebola outbreak.

For more than 75 years, children have turned their Halloween spirit into acts of generosity through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Together, generations of kids have helped raise nearly $200 million for children in need around the world.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF donations go to critical, flexible funding that can be used to help children when and where they need it most and to programs that provide essentials like safe water, vaccinations, nutrition, education, emergency relief, and more.

• $5 can provide one child with safe water for up to one year
• $10 can provide a package of soccer balls for a child-friendly space
• $30 can provide a family with a first aid kit in an emergency setting
• $51 can help 1 child recover from severe acute malnutrition

This Halloween season, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF invites people of all ages to Give Like a Kid Again. The smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
