The Little Miami Conservancy strives to:
(1) Protect and preserve the Little Miami River as a natural and scenic River, seeking a “win-win” approach that balances economic development with environmental protection.
(2) Eliminate pollution of the Little Miami River and its tributaries as necessary to protect the health of the Little Miami River ecosystem,
(3) Promote understanding and cooperation among governmental agencies, civic groups, owners and occupants of the Little Miami River properties, local industry, and users of the River's resources,
(4) Assist in the development of policies and programs to protect, preserve and improve the Little Miami River, its tributaries and the lands in the Little Miami River Corridor, based on sound science.
(5) Promote activities and events to broaden public appreciation of the assets of the Little Miami River,
(6) Support the proper uses of the Little Miami River Corridor including the promotion of an ethic of “quiet public recreation.”
(7) Promote such other activities and programs in furtherance of the foregoing, as may be necessary or proper fostering the idea of mutual respect of the rights of citizens and landowners.
