3/14/25 Update: After nearly 18 months of conflict the six-week pause in hostilities brought some relief. But now, that fragile hope is fracturing with the suspension of critical supplies entering into Gaza, as well as cut off electricity to one of Gaza’s last remaining water treatment facilities.
During the six weeks of the ceasefire Mercy Corps provided critical food and hygiene kits to over 32,000 people in Deir al Balah and Gaza City.
If the suspension persists, we will be unable to reach the additional 160,000 people we planned to support with lifesaving assistance in the coming weeks, and hundreds of thousands will be trapped without aid or medical care.
Your support will go where it is needed most, helping us mobilize our teams in response to humanitarian crises around the world. Mercy Corps teams are already on the ground where help is most needed. We work in more than 40 countries alongside communities as they prepare for, protect against, and recover from crisis.
